I think we all agree 90's fashion was horrendous, although it seems to be creeping its way back in thanks to Alexander Wang's pre-fall 2009 collection of bleached denim and velvet. But by far the biggest fashion blunder was the brow. Seriously, who ever started the skinny-penciled-brow trend must have been on crack or something. I don't know how they came to the conclusion that this awful shape would be flattering for any face. Not even the beautiful Drew Barrymore could get it right! Ah it just makes me cringe.
Anyway fast forward 10 years and we have seen a 360 in the eyebrow department. Now big and bold is beautiful, and girls all over the world are rejoicing in their bathrooms- no more over tweezing. Perhaps this could be greatly attributed to the rise of nymp-like model Bambi Northwood-Blyth and her incredible bushy brows. I say, as long as they stay subtly manicured and nicely tinted, the big brow will remain apart of our beauty regime for a while. Thank god.
