I have a soft spot for people with dreams, and this lovely young lady from Florida is no exception. Actually if anything she is the exception, because unlike many she is doing everything possible to live hers.
You see, Charlavail (pronounced Shar-Luh-Vale) admits she has an unhealthy obsession with all things disney and novelty packaging along with theme parks and pretty baked goods, and it's her mission to bring all of these wonderful things to life... in the form of a bakery.
Launching Charlavail Bakery on the 11/11/11 in Orlando Florida, she hopes to show that young people can set their sights high and achieve their wildest dreams.
From finding the perfect location (she will not settle for anything but) which she will cover in vines, hunting for the best pastry chef in the land of cakes and pies, to designing exquisitely cute aprons and everything in between, she is full steam ahead for her grand opening on what is predicted to be the day of all days for prosperity and good fortunate.
Having followed her every idea, thought and ramble, it seems that Charlavail is one very determined and inspired individual, and her passion for achieving her dream is contagious. Not only is she continually inspiring herself through art projects to help fund her dream (and business venture), she is sending out the positivity to her loyal followers.
With many beautiful letters expressing how she has provided hope and inspiration, and thanking her for showing that no dream is too small. From packages of good luck gifts to personally designed 'Charlavail' t-shirts, it is beyond obvious that this girl has an army of supporters rooting for her success.
I simply feel like I need to give her a big hug and thank her for being her. She has a mission in life which is to show herself that she is capable of obtaining the greatest thing anyone could have- a dream - and proving that when you pour your heart, mind and soul into it, anything is possible.
I wish her all the success, and hope that one day in the near future I will pop into Charlavail's Bakery and demolish some delightful baked goods.
She has most certainly inspired me, and I think there is without a doubt a lil bit of Charlavail in all of us.
In the words of Miss C: I know I’m young and inexperienced but I assure you sir this will not be a mistake and I can and will create a successful establishment.
